Natural Colors Weight and Price

Natural colors come from plant sources. The plant material may provide color to soap and cosmetics by being finely ground and added directly to the product. Plant materials may also provide color to products in the form of an infusion. To create an infusion, add the plant material to very hot distilled water, just as creating a tea. Then, after the water has taken on the color of the plant, strain the infusion through a filter or strainer to remove the plant material; use the colored distilled water as the water phase of the product.
